Lizzie trained at the Arts Educational School, (Tring Park) having won a government vocational and CDET scholarship and graduated with a Diploma in Professional Dance. She was accepted as a JA at the Royal Ballet School and Ballet Rambert and trained at the English National Ballet School. She achieved Distinction for Advanced 2 Ballet, Modern & Tap Examinations.

A fully qualified ISTD teacher since 2002, she graduated as a Licentiate of the ISTD enabling her to train students to become ISTD dance teachers. 

She established LMSD in 2003. She is married with two children.
