We are very proud of the achievements of our students, with hardwork and dedication they achieve fantastic results in shows, festivals and at ISTD examinations, which take place throughout the year.
Congratulations and well done to LMSD Ballet and Tap pupils, who have recently taken their examinations. Another set of high results - 85% achieving Distinction and the remainder high scoring Merits.
Congratulations to all our pupils who have successfully audtioned this year. To Lewis Fernee, who has previously was Small Boy in Billy Elliott in the West End and toured with and, is currently, appearing in Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins in Dubai and has also just won himself a part in Dickens Uncovered at the Regents Park Open Air Theatre. Also to Amber Fernee for her regular appearances in exciting Channel 4 TV dramas. To Geoffrey Berrisford for his long run in Lion King in the West End. To the pupils that took part and competed at ISTD Ballet and Tap Awards, the All England qualifiers, London Children's Ballet auditions, the Hitchin Dance Festival, Saracens Wembley, St Giles 60th Anniversary....and many more.
2018 As always this has been a very busy, fun packed year with another fabulous sell out show in June, Street Dance competitions, our street crew coming second at the Essex Championships and ballet examinations coming up this December. Lizzie has just taken and passed her ISTD Licentiate which means she is now an LISTD and can teach her students to be ISTD dance teachers. Show video and photos to follow very soon...
2017 An amazing, enjoyable and busy year at LMSD. Congratulations to those pupils who took part in Tap and Ballet examinations, the ISTD dance awards, PBTC’s Chess The Musical, London Children’s Ballet auditions, entertained the residents at Cuffley Care Home, danced at Saracens at Wembley and competed at the Chesham Dance Festival, entertained audiences at Mavericks Netball Tournament and Pope Paul School’s Strawberry Fayre, raised funds at LMSD’s Bad Hair Day for GOSH, successfully auditioned for TV commercials and West End shows and to several LMSD pupils who won school dance and performance scholarships for their future schools and, of course, to everyone who worked hard in 2017 in their weekly dance classes. Well done we are proud of you all!
